The relentless power of nature creates order out of chaos, my work seeks to channel that energy and evoke a primal sense of experiecnce: dramatic, dynamic and deep. Through my chosen material I create a sense of movement, a shifting perspective that reflects the memoreies from which the image derives. As if fading through time, I remove the image in part to reveal the metal surface underneath. A rich variety of textures, marks and layers build an experiential sense of being in the landscape.
